The Sally Saga explores the history of Rederi Ab Sally, one of the largest Finnish freight shipping companies and a driving force behind Viking Line together with its two subsidiaries, Sally Line UK and Sally Line Finland. Both these latter enterprises outlived the parent company's demise in 1988 and continued operating into the 1990s. Also included are fleet lists for Sally Line UK and Sally Line Finland, as well as a look into the fortunes of the port of Ramsgate after Sally Line UK had ceased to operate.
