This volume recounts the turbulent years from 1967 to 1988, during which the company had to operate against a background of civil strife, and it did so magnificently under the charismatic and controversial leadership of Werner Heubeck. The book is largely in colour and includes full fleet lists. The author served with Ulsterbus from 1967 to 2001, firstly as Personal Assistant to Werner Heubeck, then Projects Manager, and finally Inspector General.
